CANCELLED AS OF 5pm – Boil Water Advisory for Borough Residents

CANCELLED AS OF 5pm 12/4/14

A Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for all of the water customers of the Benton Municipal Water & Sewer Authority until further notice. This is a precaution due to some coloration abnormalities noticed in some of the drinking water. An investigation is underway to determine reason/cause of this abnormality. As a precaution, a Boil Water Advisory has been issued.

A Boil Advisory means that if you use tap water for drinking or cooking, the water should be brought to a rolling boil for 1-2 min prior to consumption.
